Every Thursday afternoon Passion Church is excited to give food boxes, bread, and vegetables to local residents in need. We also receive donated clothing and other small household items for recycling to the community. The food boxes are prepared by the Tucson Community Food Bank and provided for those needing emergency food assistance. We endeavor to have prayer partners present during the food distribution to pray for those needing healing or who have other prayer requests. On many occasions, people leave with a food box and a healing!
ANDRÉS MALO leads our FoodBox ministry. Andrés has wide experience in business, ministry, and non-profit organizations. He has a particular passion for the poor and disadvantaged in our community. In Ecuador Andrés was instrumental in a massive donation of medicines for the children of Ecuador, and the acquisition and provision of one thousand wheel chairs for Ecuador's poor and disabled.
Andrés holds a BS in biochemistry, and a Master's in Social Intervention (MSI). When he's not working some project at Passion Church or other local ministries, you will find Andrés at his real estate business or enjoying quality time with his wife, Marysol, and their three children.
