Every Thursday afternoon Passion Church is excited to give food boxes, bread, and vegetables to local residents in need. We also receive donated clothing and other small household items for recycling to the community. The food boxes are prepared by the Tucson Community Food Bank and provided for those needing emergency food assistance. We endeavor to have prayer partners present during the food distribution to pray for those needing healing or who have other prayer requests. On many occasions, people leave with a food box and a healing!
A graduate of the "school-of-hard-knocks," LISA SHARP is a self-taught former Chief Financial Officer for a thriving corporation. Compassion for others has been a hallmark of Lisa since she was a child. As a kid, Lisa was the one standing up for the little guy on the playground. That same spirit compels her today as she devotes hours each week to the Passion Church food distribution program. Lisa's heart is to see God's love poured out lavishly upon the disadvantaged and neglected of our society, that they would know and feel God's great love for them, and that others would see those in need as real people in God's world deserving the same respect and love as those more fortunate.
